Thats a great question! If you are seeing shingle loss..missing shingles..shingles that are shining in the sun..shingles that are showing the outline of the “teeth”..shingles that are frayed and furry.. or shingles that are missing..yes, you need a new roof! Often times a roof will show blatant signs of needing to be replaced and other times it will not show blatant signs but will still be in need of replacement. Things such as adhesion loss and mis-nailed shingles that can cause premature tearing and possible leaking will not always be seen from the ground when looking at your roof. That is why a thorough and professional inspection is needed to determine just how much life your roof has left and when is the best time to replace it? WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR A ROOFING PROJECT?
in What is the timeline for a roofing project?
Great Question! For most residential roofing projects, the project will be completed in one day from start to finish. Our crews will arrive first thing in the morning and begin to protect the yard and home with tarping and then begin to tear the roof off. Once that is complete, the project manager and crew lead will inspect the decking for any boards that need to be replaced. If any are determined to be replaced then the project manager will contact the homeowner and get prior approval to replace the boards. Once the boards are replaced, the roofing system can be installed and the roof will be finished.
For most siding projects, the timeline is longer as there are more components to a siding installation and each project is determined by the size of the area that is being sided and the material that is being used. Typically a siding project lasts from 1-3 weeks.

Our crews are clean and professional. They begin by laying tarps and protective material around the property to catch stray material that falls from the roof during tear off and installation. Once the crew is done, the project manager and roofing contractor are the last to go over the property again for a final inspection to ensure that the property is left in the same, if not better shape, than when we arrived.
